Overview

Artificial intelligence is a leading technology that has the potential to take the semiconductor fabrication industry to the next generation level. Today AI techniques such as machine learning, neural networks, support vector machines, etc., can be used with various machines to aid chip manufacturing process, inspection, and quality assurance. After analyzing the domain of semiconductor manufacturing for the last five years we found that semiconductor companies are actively investing in exploring the areas where artificial intelligence can be used to optimize the manufacturing process.
