Norwegian green industry pioneers Vanir Green Industries and GreenCap Solutions, a company controlled by the industry group BR Industrier, formed a new company Removr to scale and industrialize Direct Air Capture (DAC). Removr’s DAC plants will adsorb CO₂ by utilizing the microporous zeolite adsorbents. Post reaching the saturation of zeolites, the CO₂ is desorbed using heat and sent for storage as compressed gas or liquid. This process is highly energy efficient compared to existing DAC technologies.

This joint effort will propel the development of large-scale DAC
