This novel device, equipped with an off-the-shelf glucose monitor and insulin pump, maintains the blood sugar levels in diabetic patients. The artificial pancreas can assist in maintaining normal glucose levels. The artificial pancreas is controlled by the CamAPS HX mobile app.

This algorithm-powered app predicts the amount of insulin needed to keep glucose levels within the target range, assisting people with type 2 diabetes to better manage their condition.
